I am glad to be able to say that Freyja’s refit is virtually complete. She has just been launched and I plan to take her to Shotley on Sunday 23rd March. Her Code of Practice inspection has been arranged for the following week. Sunday 30th March will be a final day of tidying-up (at Shotley); and this season’s Skipper Familiarisation sessions will take place over three days of the following weekend. I will then release the boat into service for the 2008 season.
My grateful thanks to all who helped in her refit. It really would not be possible without you and the rest of the Association owes you a great deal for giving them a boat they can use.
I am standing-down as Yacht Husband when Freyja goes back into service and Tom Tooley will take my place. I know he will do a good job and I trust you will all give him the same level of support that I have enjoyed.
