We hold our two rallies in the spring around the rivers Orwell, Stour and Backwater and sea area. In the autumn the rally is held on the Blackwater. The club boat is joined at Shotleyfor both of the rallies. We have a meal together on the evening of the rally in the Shipwreck or the Bradwell Sailing club. This is a good chance to meet other members of the club. The courses are devised so that the best use of tide and wind have to be taken into account and is a good exercise in navigation and seamanship. The picture shows a bit of nonsense on one of the rallies.
