FREYJA of ORWELL

Recently six members of the club took a sailing holiday in Croatia on a typical 38ft Mediterranean boat.

As we had this year become owners of a Najad 380 it was felt that we needed to explain to other boat users in the area that our usual boat was of a better quality than the holiday vessel.

So the whole crew wore burgundy red T shirts with a picture of a 380 emblazoned on the front and the name “FREYJA of ORWELL” shown on the back. The front had the words “MY OTHER BOAT IS A NAJAD” superimposed over the picture.

Initially the crew sat on the bow of the charter boat for a photo shoot, but a couple of days later a large multi million pound “gin palace” came into the port and so another photo seemed appropriate.
