5 days on board

This course lasts for 5 nights and days and you will need 5 days seatime 100 miles in your log book and 4 night hours. You will be expected to have some practical experience and basic navigation and sailing skills. You will learn the basics of pilotage and boat handling seamanship and navigation. A night sail of 4 hours will be undertaken.  After the course you will be able to skipper a small yacht in familiar waters by day and get a Certificate of course completion.

You will be instructed by fully qualified RYA instructors who will make the course enjoyable and instructive.
Day-Skipper

The cost of the berth is £375. There is a reduction of £25.00 if you are a member of CSSC and CSSA making the berth cost £350.00. To qualify for this reduction you have to be a member of the CSSC and be a member of CSSA. The berth fee includes all meals on board, marina fees and any other expenses.
